"So...have you seen my pants?"
"Hot pockets, world peace and the right to stab people in the face when they piss me off."

Maria Hill feared only one thing.
Some would say it was running out of coffee, but she'd managed before without it and could again. Some said she feared Fury, but the respect she showed him was not borne of fear.
Some whispered that she feared Loki, but they didn't know her all that well.
What she truly feared was failure. Losing the battle between good and evil, what was right and what was not, and letting humanity die unprotected.
The ultimate in Greater Good was what drove her.
She just reacted differently to fear than some; she used it rather than cowered from it. It became a tool to be shaped, something to be refined and forged into a weapon.
Because she feared it, the idea and possibility of it made her more focused, more cold. When she felt fear upon her, she wore it like armor and struck fear into the hearts of her enemies in turn. She became something to be feared instead.
Perhaps what she really feared was herself...
fearisason reblogged your post fearisason: "Nick? Is there money in... and added:
"Aw, come on. Help a fear god out!"
"Nope, sorry. Find another way to buy an Xbox One."
