Love?

People define it in so many different ways. If you try to search the dictionary, you'd find a bunch of words written on it. Affection; strong liking; good will; benevolence; charity, etc. There are so many meanings and interpretations of love. If you come to think of it, what is the definition of love for you? Maybe you'd spend time thinking.. 'Yeah, what is love [for me]'?

When I found my church talked about love for a couple of weeks, I was thrilled. I mean, when I think of love I find it as the 'crush' or 'boyfriend-girlfriend thing', but eventually, I was wrong. Even before my church taught about love, my school also talked about love as well. We even memorized 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8a. I learned a lot, but I learned so much more during our growth group sessions.

The 6-week-lesson was fun, especially during our sharing time. It had a different highlight for every lesson. Week 3 was the toughest one for me. Love speaks the truth. It is hard to confront a person with love. I mean, me and my friends fight and stuff, so I know the feeling. But when we discussed it, it helped me a lot. It gave me tips/advice on how to deal with them. 

I now understand what love is. It is not only the 'crush' or 'girlfriend-boyfriend' thing. It is the relationship between you and God, and between you and other people. The 6-week-lesson was a blessing for me, and I thank my growth group mates and gg leader and most importantly God who helped me learn these things about love. To God be the glory!

Unplanned Bonding

Darren and I saw each other at church. *hugs* She suggested we should hangout, with Fritzie, too! So... Why not? We asked our parents and they said yes.

We went to Town center. We only had a hundred pesos to spend on. So we ate food that were not too expensive. After eating, we went to National Book Store. Darren bought some school stuff there. We saw people we knew like Peter, our churchmate. Good thing Fritzie's parents were there! Her mom gave us 1k! Yaaaaay! We decided to go to Timezone afterwards. Dance Dance Revolution, Basketball, Crane, Deal or No Deal (We won 200 Tickets!!), etc. Dairy Queen to have some break. 9 Oz Oreo Blizzard, please. Stolled around the mall. Went back to Timezone. Next, we decided to go to the Internet Café. While walking there, we saw our classmate Betty! We all hugged her. Her bro was playing drums in the gig! We were like "REALLY?! WOW!!". We watched him play, he was sooooo good. He's only Grade 4 and he has a gig! We also saw Jogee and Tracy along the way. Lol, what an unexpected day. We went home. Fritzie saw my house! :)
