#pencil and pen have always been my natural mediums. I've spent so much time lately trying to hone my watercolour skills that I forgot how much I have always enjoyed drawing and how easy it is for my heart to sit and draw. Even working on that orchid painting bored me, but I persisted because I feel like I have to do these things to completion so I can improve my skills and be a 'real' artist. But along the way, I have once again lost sight of my #bliss 😓It almost felt uncomfortable allowing myself time to play rather than relentlessly working towards another painting or on my next commission.
