Lighthouse
Life is a deep, dark sea, my friend, and everyone's adrift, scared and lost in it. Those of us that find a Light within can - no, must - build a lighthouse in themselves, and show the gaping night that come what may the Light will never fade: not in the freezing, endless hours before sunrise, not in the unrelenting beating of the waves... Not even in the eye of the storm, when the fury of the entire ocean is upon us. Why? Well, put simply, because one must never forget how it felt to be out there: in the freezing, pitch-black waters, lost and alone and with nowhere left to go to. So shine, my friend, if you can, for others. Don't let the darkness of this world snuff you out and turn you back to hatred, selfishness, mistrust and reservation. Who knows? Maybe one day the Light within you can spark another lighthouse, within someone else, and that one in another, until this pitch-black life is lit by all our raging hearts, and for once, the sea will feel the sunshine.
Let the road take us wherever it might lead- we will bring the sunshine in our step! <3 -S
