Thank you to everyone that attended the conversation last week on Exploring Communal Environmental Aesthetics.
It was a very rich and enlightening discussion, and we look forward to the next on September 19th. Stay tuned for details and suggested readings.
--------------------------------
We're having the first topical discussion at the studio on next Wednesday, August 22nd for Feast of Flowers! It's titled "Exploring Communal Environmental Aesthetics."
We have a suggested reading by Grant Kester titled Learning from Aesthetics: Old Masters and New Lessons. It's a general overview of many approaches to contemporary aesthetics, but we're going to explore (like conquistadors in the new world) ways that we can collectively make environmental choices based on aesthetics that better us individually, which thus better us as a whole.
If you are interested but haven't had time to do the reading, please come anyway.
