if you were on the bachelorette and all these students were on the show, who would be your final three?

“okay, i’ve been saying all year that the ship is secretly the new love island villa! everyone here is almost... too hot? this is evidence that i’m 100% correct. okay, my final three roses would go to (in no particular order):

maude, because her goddess-tier energy makes me feel like i could conquer the world and i would happily run away with her. no one could stop us! i swear, there’s a bungalow on the water somewhere with our names on it. @mvdes                                                                       

blue, for reasons that should be obvious, because i’d never be bored, i’d always feel listened to, and for someone so different from me, they’ve never made me feel like i shouldn’t be exactly myself around them. @biuekwon

“there’s a good reason i asked you to dress up with me,” duckie promised her best friend, holding onto their arm as she walked them through rodeo drive in beverly hills. for all intents and purposes, it should’ve been a completely normal walk from one shop to another. but when duckie spotted a few of her old friends and the cameras she’d asked them to bring, she couldn’t hide her scheming little smile. “i think you’re gonna want to put your sunglasses on, my love,” she suggested as a small crowd of familiar ‘paparazzi’ started moving toward them with flashing cameras, shouting their names and asking for different poses. “today, we’re the celebrities.”

there was nothing more exciting than getting the news of where their next excursion to land would take place, except for maybe thinking about what she would wear for all the memories she wanted to make. most of the time, she had a change of clothes in her bag and found time to do an outfit change halfway through the day. wherever her fashion daydreams took her, river was always there in those clothing premonitions. she had her dreamiest dress on for them today, and a map outlined on her phone with la bodega verde as the final destination. arm hooked in river’s, she looked from her phone to an outdoor cafe and back again before she was tugging them forward. “this is it!” she said, turning around to display the romantic cafe tucked into a green little corner of lima; straight out of one of the romances they watched on their laptops, curled up against each other with their box of wine. “i’m gonna take so many cute pictures of you here, carter’s not gonna know what hit ‘em.”

“that’s gotta be either river or jai, right? i go to them for different things, but they fill in the gaps in my personality in different ways. i may be... a bit over-trusting, though, so the list for the runners-up is probably pretty long.”
