The rotary cellphone project is coming along. Early this morning, I made some spacing parts out of polymorph, soldered a few more connections, lengthened a few wires, and even tested the hook switch, rotary dial, and screen connections. I also got an idea that involves an LM567 chip, but that’s icing on the cake if I get the rest of it working first.
I’ve got a wrist strap for my second generation home made... I guess it’s a smart watch? It’s pretty dumb for a smart watch.
The rotary cellphone project has been revived with a fresh Feather Fona. Charging is working again, which is nice. Something isn’t quite right with my hook switch/dial tone logic. I can place calls, and receive calls, but outbound audio isn’t passing...
Man, it has been WAY too long since I touched this code -- like, 14 months. Remember kids, document your code.
Got the rotary cell phone project switched to a Feather 32u4 board, which seems to be working better (including the OLED display), now that everything is running on 3.3V logic & power. Next comes wiring a battery box for 18650 batteries, one per board. Not only that, but I’ll need to find a suitable connector for the charging port.
