Iridescence and feather study.
A lot of my cheats and tricks for feathers do not work with humming birds, because their feathers are quite large in comparison to the animal itself. So I had to spend a lot more time trying to work out what I was doing with underpainting. Might be a Mexican Violet-Ear. But more likely a Calliope Hummingbird where I got distracted and forgot to block in the right colours.
