This was a study I started earlier this year and left unfinished — until now. Lately, I’ve been fascinated by aged sculptures — especially those weathered by time and covered in mossy, bluish-green patina. They feel like time itself has left its fingerprints on the stone. I imagined what it would look like if these statues were given life — not just in gesture, but in presence. The figure on the left was inspired by The Progress of Love: The Meeting by Fragonard, while the other two are studies based on references by @studiografit.

The Gaze – Oil on Canvas Texture Study
Capturing the silent intensity of nature through heavy, expressive brushstrokes.
This original oil painting explores the delicate balance between form and texture, focusing on the contrasting warmth within the rabbit's elongated ears against a cool, muted background.
The textured surface builds a raw, tactile presence, inviting a closer look at the layers of light and shadow that define the subject's quiet posture.
