it wasn’t as though the girl didn’t have trouble of her own to deal with. elijah liked to stay abreast of the events plaguing mystic falls, since he knew of their penchant for attracting world shattering danger, and he knew pieces of the things that had been recently afflicting them. yet, still, she came at his call, for which he was immensely grateful. it was the very least he could do to pick her up outside the gate, ready to drive her to the compound, where he had made arrangements for her to stay for her time in new orleans.

      he’s an ASSORTMENT OF BOOKS laid out on the table for them, set up in stacks and piles based on the practice they decide to delve into. this is entirely up to Bonnie. a part of Patrick becomes NOSTALGIC looking at all these books, many bound in the skins of animals, a couple of them human. a majority aren’t even in English, and the titles are well worn down.     ❛   well then... here we’ve got potion-making, healing spells--great practice that one, useful--er... necromancy--we’re not gettin’ int’ tha’. an’... umm... basic alchemy and nature bendin’--goes int’ biokinesis.  ❜

UNBELIEVABLE! HERE SHE WAS, doing all she could to assist the witch and keep her out of harm’s way, and this is the thanks she gets?  When Bonnie suggested the two come to such sacred ground on a full moon’s night, Hayley was curious at first. Bonnie knew what happened once the moon crest the night sky. What could she possibly want with a wolf on a night like that? What she failed to realize was the lack of control Hayley truly had when that time came. What command she has over her own facilities is extended for those she’s close to. For friends whose scent she had cemented to memory and people who had distinctive attributes she could focus on through her enhanced senses. Threats to either of those were dealt with in a harsh manner, one that left one man with shredded tendons in his leg and another with an arm broken in two places. By the time she came to in the early morning light, recalling the night before in vivid detail, she couldn’t believe her eyes or ears when Bonnie tossed her a sheet to cover herself with. “You’re the one who wanted to do a spell on a full moon’s night! You had to know there might be a chance someone would come across us and need to be dealt with. And it’s not like I killed them. They’ll live! Scars add character anyway. Why else does every villain have one?”
