She keeps her eyes to the stars above , one hand tucked under her head , the other running over Trinket’s back. The fire burns low , providing just enough light to still give color to the forest. They’re still a day out from their destination so camping it is. Not that Vex minds. This is where she thrives.

❝ Are we sure we want to stay here ? ❞ The question comes unprompted and with a casual air. She’s inspecting her latest batch of arrows from the fletcher , eyes kept averted intentionally. Vex knows he’s... perhaps not comfortable with the rest of them , but getting there. They haven’t been comfortable in gods know how long. It’s not that is makes her uncomfortable. She just needs to keep her guard up. Just in case.
