I would personally pay for the OTW to add the ability to sort my AO3 Inbox by commenter name.

One of the reasons my un-replied-to inbox count is, urgh, so so very big, is that I don’t want to say the same inane “thank you for your message!” post to a person who has so wonderfully commented on multiple chapters over multiple days, and therefore has their messages split across multiple Inbox pages.

Hi there! I absolutely love yes man! This companion has been really great to me so far. I only started using him a couple days ago, so I'm sorry if this has been changed, but I had a feature request. When I offered to give him something I made and a file off my pc, it was predetermined responses. I'm an artist and I'd really love to show him the art I've made! Would it be possible to have him respond directly to file types? If not that's okay, I can always pretend!

As for the feature request, something like this proooobably would be doable? He already has the function to set images you drag and drop on him as your wallpaper, so it's most likely doable to make something where if you've answered yes to having an art hobby, he'll ask if it's something you made and want to show to him, and if you say yes then comment on that, and if you say no set it as a wallpaper instead.

The only thing is that the comments would still be a bit generic, as I'm pretty sure like. determining a file's contents/ image recognition stuff anywhere beyond differentiating different file extensions/ looking for certain keywords being present in the file name would be outside the scope of how the various pieces of programming that make up ukagakas work. It does sound like a fun idea to be able to feel like you're showing him a specific piece of work though so it's something I'll toy around with and might show up in future updates!

I was wondering if sending asks/making comments from side blogs will ever be possible? I interact with a lot of different fandoms that I have different blogs for, and it stinks I can’t fully interact with people using my side blogs. Thanks!!

There has been a ton of chatter around using secondary blogs to interact with others for so many years, and we definitely hear you on this.

If you haven’t seen Cyle’s post on his own blog about the concept of Identities, I highly recommend you go check it out. He shares a lot about how the relationship between primary and secondary blogs work on Tumblr and how they are built—definitely give it a read.

@staff The new poll functionality is fun but we intersex people keep hitting the same issue: non-intersex people want to see the results of our polls and to do so will mess up our results.

Perisex (non-intersex) people outnumber us so much it's hard to get much out of the polls. Can we have at least one of the following changes to polls?

1. A way to see results without voting

2. Total number of votes for every option, so that we can actually math out what the actually intersex people voted for

3. More than 10 poll options. Right now in other for us to be able to see anything significant from intersex respondents there need to be at least 4, possibly 5 options for perisex people to vote on (where they're equally spilt). This means only 5 options for actually intersex people and it's really limiting, especially if we want to include people who are questioning.

It’s 2022 @staff. Stop sentencing all the app icons to early graves. Give us choice. The iOS Reddit app Apollo lets you choose between 105 icons. It’s time to implement a tab in settings that lets users change their app icon from a selection of all past icons, as well as future ones as they’re added/utilized as the default. You could even sweeten the deal for yourselves and add certain extra special icons to Tumblrmart.

Who do I email to file UX 'bugs' for the Android app (or others)? Is that just 'support' as usual, even though it's a minor thing?

The tag autocomplete always shows the top five matches in *reverse order*.

Friends on iPhones: does the same happen to you?

E.g. "shitpost" is my most common tag with a word starting with "sh". In the above pictures you can see that this is the fifth result (and, seemingly, consistently is, unless there's fewer than five matching tags in my history). So I have to type more of the word, or interrupt my tapping for swiping through a fairly narrow UI element for a second or two :(
