kendra was having a relatively ordinary day when she’d decided to wander the park. she’s recently bought a new phone and she was still trying to understand how they worked, and the extent of things they were capable of doing - she’d never had one you see. she’d been so immersed in the device that she hadn’t noticed she was about to pass someone. it was only when there shoulders collided did she look up from the device. “oh my...” she paused, slipping the phone into her back pocket, all she had learnt was that the devices were rather distracting. “are you alright?” she asked, a small frown forming on her lips. “i swear i’m not usually as distracted, you see i’m still learning about these devices.” kendra was rambling, she felt terrible for for causing a collision with the stranger, and although she didn’t know him she felt like she should apologise and explain herself.

“can i help you?” the red head asked as she turned to look at the other. “it feels as if you’ve been staring at me for an hour, do i have something stuck in my teeth?” she asked sharply, arching a brow at the other. “who are you?”
