Q: If you meet a girl like that at a party, will she attract you?
LH: Who knows? Because of different environment, different lights and atmosphere will also affects my decision. Maybe one moment I think she is stunning.
Q: If you are ambiguous with the girl, will you be passive or active?
"Living as Super Junior's Donghae, the best part of is it that at any point of time, you won't feel lonely. From morning until night, there will always be someone who brings happiness, so I'm really happy. Also, the fans around the world are always so warm towards me, it warmed my heart, as Lee Donghae. This is the reason why I've been so thankful and working hard in my life. -- From Lee Donghae
Ceci: Because you're part of the Korean wave's idols, you're suppose to be hard to get close to, very cold. But, compared to what we imagined, your character is actually very gentle and warm, it surprised us!
Donghae: The first time we meet, there will always be a distant feeling. But quickly, it'll disappear and we will get close~ After getting close, I like to make a lot of jokes, so many that you won't be able to take it (laughs) Just like today, if the feeling is good, there'll be a lot of jokes!
Ceci: Super Junior has already debut for 7 years. What's the difference between 7 years ago and now?
Donghae: From debut until now, a lot of things have changed. Be it appearance or character. When we first debut, we put our everything on the stage, injuries and all made us into what we are now. Our members all have been through a lot.
Ceci: During this 7 years, what are the best memories?
Donghae: One? there are many! Example, when we won the newcomer award, the first time we had our solo concert and the year end daesang award! Ah! Also, I remember our first overseas schedule was at Thailand. That time, there were so many fans who welcomed us. That is unforgettable.
Ceci: Super Junior has so many fans around the world. What do you think your charm is that you captured so many hearts?
Donghae: If I knew it, it wouldn't be a charm anymore. (laughs) Although we don't know what ours is, but because we cannot always meet our fans, we can only use our SNS (Social Networking Services) to communicate. Maybe this is the reason why we are close to our fans. Although this isn't much, but I'm still grateful to everyone.
Ceci: Between the members, how is the relationship like?
Donghae: Everyone who sees us at our concert and those who see our photos through SNS, that is our real self. Plus, we keep working hard for everyone to show our real self. Although Leeteuk hyung went to the army, but we want to continue working hard and become stronger.
Ceci: Leeteuk has enlisted, then what about the leader position?
Donghae: Before Leeteuk hyung enlisted, we all did the "We Are Super Junior" in front of him. Because Eunhyuk did it the best, he calls himself the second leader. But he's only kidding when he says that.
Ceci: Although it's been 7 years, the members knew each other for around 12-13 years, right? If that's the case, you guys are like family. Normally, who is the passionate member? Or who is changed the most?
Donghae: (Think for a while) Looks? Character? Or everything? Everyone changed a lot~ Mm~ The person that's too much is Eunhyuk! I told him all my secrets, be it family stuff or personal stuff, I will tell this friend of mine. But Eunhyuk! How do I say it? He keeps to himself. Because of this, we always argue. So instead of keeping everything in his heart, I hope that he'll share it.
Ceci: Today's theme of the photoshoot is vacation. Because of the theme, so, after resting a few days after a concert, if it was really a holiday, what plans will you make?
Donghae: Leeteuk hyung and I have similar interest. In simpler terms, we like to relax. Kyuhyun, Eunhyuk and Ryeowook are the type of people who like to travel. We went to Paris before, our differences all came out. because Leeteuk hyung and I like places that relax, so during that short period of time, we brought tropical fruits and then we relaxed.
Ceci: This is a holiday, when you're not travelling what do you do?
Donghae: I'll recite what I do from the start to the end. First, I wake up, eat, work out, bathe. Then, watch a movie. It gives me a lot of feelings, then, write a composition, then sleep. Doesn't it look healthy? Because it's not like this everyday. (laughs)
Ceci: After 30 years old, what will Donghae be like?
Donghae: Music, acting and a happy family, that's what I always wanted. Once I reached that time, I want to be married and have a kid. Super Junior wants that too. When Super Junior's juniors are born, I'm really looking forward to it. Imagining it is a little magical. When the time is right, get married, after that settle down, we'll watch little juniors grow up, after that write music together, act together... I want that kind of life.
Ceci: If Junior wants to be like Donghae, a singer, will you allow?
Donghae: Of course. If it's my child's dream, I will try to help. By then, I will let him come to Thailand for activities and the first magazine photoshoot will be Ceci. (laughs) By 40 years old, I will compile all the songs into an album and release it. During that period of time, you must listen!
Ceci: The photographer today said you look like a Hong Kong celebrity, and everyone thinks so.
Donghae: I'm old, be it the face or body, it will change. To be a little more man, no matter how busy, I keep trying my best to work out. Just like how I want to be a singer, actor, I must keep working out.
Ceci: Super Junior Donghae, Actor Donghae, and now a model, how do you evaluate yourself?
Donghae: From trainees until now, because of the strong yet gentle performance, it attracted the fans. That is how I evaluated Super Junior's Donghae. And the main focus now is to get into the acting stage, I hope I can do it. Filming... Although I'm not sure if I do it well, but as Lee Donghae, I will try every side of it, it feels fresh and interesting. (The truth is, the day of recording, he never once showed a sign of exhaustion, but he kept on doing his best.)
Ceci: Super Junior Donghae, although he is really handsome, but we're really anticipating Actor Donghae's future looks. Are there any special roles you want to play?
Donghae: First of all, meeting "Miss Panda And Hedgehog"'s cast and crew were great. And playing the role of 'hedgehog', I felt really happy. Giving this role to the me who didn't have a lot of experience, it's a really good experience, because I come to know unique, precious people. This is a really, really thankful feeling. In the future, I will continue acting and work hard. Firstly, with a challenged mindset to complete the role that I can film, and when there's a chance to be able to choose, I hope to film ancient films.
Ceci: Ancient films? I'm surprised. But, face and voice must be suitable. Now can we look forward to Lee Donghae who's acting in an ancient film? If you get the chance, you must tell Ceci. We will immediately arrange for you to take a photoshoot like that.
Donghae: Of course. I hope that time will come quickly. I hope to challenge all sorts of roles. Be it a bad person role or someone who is kindhearted, fantasy role is okay too. Because I haven't taken up so many roles yet, I want to try everything. But something's that confirmed, no matter what role, I will shed the face I have now and become the person in that role for everyone to see.
