Yesterday, man. Total fail. Not the best day. I woke up late to start and missed my gym opportunity. Later, work was crazy and just getting lunch was a feat: first I knocked my homemade salad over while gesticulating (working and eating at the same time), then I left work to get another salad only to realize at checkout I’d forgotten my debit card at work. Third attempt at lunch finally worked and I hit up the nearby Whole Foods salad bar. It’s a wonder I didn’t hit up Taco Smell with the day I was having. Here’s what I crammed in my pie hole:
Vitamins!
1 12 oz coffee with cream
1 egg sautéed with 1.5 c spinach, some onion and 1 tsp olive oil
2 apple slices
1 c kale salad, 1 c coconut rice and beans and 1/2 c steamed veggies (all from Whole Foods salad bar)
1 can of La Croix
1 Harmless Harvest coconut water
1 c steamed rice w/ 1 and 1/2 c of broccoli and shrimp
1 c egg drop soup
2 fried wontons
1 Chinese donut
1 cup of tea with tsp honey
Trouble spots before starting my hardcore dieting in February: obvs I wouldn’t be eating a goddamn donut, people. Boyfriend was sick and brought home a dozen and I ate it as my parting dessert before diet town. TEVS.
Also, won’t be eating anything fried. I ate those fried wontons last night. Aaand the steamed white rice won’t be happening. Not so bad for the crappiest day in a while, but I do see huge improvements needed.
Besides my cravings for salt (CHIPS), the other BIG thing is going to be waking up about an hour earlier than I do. I tried again this morning and it didn’t work. I might have to murder my snooze button if I’m gonna get to the gym in the AM.
