Wow it’s been a crazy few days! I want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who joined in Pile of Craft on Saturday! I as well as all of the other Artists and small businesses were completely overwhelmed with the outpouring of support and love at this event! I cannot even put into words how grateful I am for being able to connect with many of you over Instagram and email and for all of the kind words and support you have given the Baltimore art community and myself. I recognized a lot of names on Saturday and it really felt like a real show. Right now I’m working as fast as I can to get your orders out but things may take a little longer than normal so apologies in advance!

I also wanted to share the amazing news that because of your support, we were able to see donate $600 to PekoPeko’s Feed it Forward Program! That is INCREDIBLE! Thank you for helping us spread the love and support to other businesses and for helping Peko Peko deliver meals to those on the frontlines and those in need. One thing I have been concentrating on during these weeks in quarantine is how amazing it is to see what we can do when we work together. Everything is connected even though we are seperated physically. 🥰🥰🥰

This New Grocery Store In Toronto Lets Customers Pay What They Can

You'd be hard pressed to find critics of such a worthy mission.

There's a reason you don't often see a pay-what-you-can grocery store, say marketing experts intrigued by a Toronto venture billed as the first of its kind.

But chef Jagger Gordon says it's an experiment he's eager to try with his Feed It Forward Grocery Store, which opened Saturday with many of the typical staples you might find in a conventional supermarket.

The difference is that visitors are encouraged to take just what they need, and only pay what they can, even if that's no money at all.

Gordon doesn't expect to make a profit from this project, which includes a bakery and cafe and is the latest endeavour from his zero-waste and food security campaign, dubbed Feed It Forward.

He says the goal is to feed the hungry with food that he's "rescued" from food terminals, supermarkets and bakeries that would otherwise go to waste.
