These numbers are not just statistics; they represent real families struggling to survive each day.

However, the lack of access to opportunities and resources made every day a battle. No family should have to choose between hunger and survival. Today is a bittersweet day as I close a six and a half year chapter of my life at Second Harvest. I am grateful for my coworkers, donors and the beautiful souls I have met out in the community during that time. They have made me a better, more compassionate human being and I can't thank them enough for sharing their lives and experiences with me.
