I love this panel! We never really get a viewpoint from Yashiro’s perspective, it’s always an outside view looking at the two of them. Makes me feel like doumeki is staring into my soul, that emotion!!!

i wrote on my receipts over the course of 4ish months,
documenting feelings is important for me, specifically feelings that occur during the conversations within my chosen communities. the vulnerability that is exchanged while sharing a meal fascinates me.
"So... are sins ever forgiven...?"
Ghetsis was silent for a long time. That was an excellent question. He gave a soft sigh before looking down at the boy. “I do not know. I have never tried.” In reality none have given him the chance to try either.
i’m still aching because tg:re chapter 31.5

//So I'm watching a playthrough of Before Crisis, and in my mind, Rod (Alvis) is the player Turk. I'm at the episode where he wakes up after being in a coma for three years. And all I can think is just how that would affect him. He wakes up realizing that three years of his life are gone, his fellow Turks have been out there fighting while he was in the hospital being a vegetable. Not only that, but having to struggle with the deterioration on his body due to being immobile for so long.
I can only imagine the sheer and bitter frustration that he would be feeling. His ultimate goal is to one day be Turk leader. But now, after serving with the Turks for years, he's been physically set back to the point where it feels like he's starting from scratch. I just picture him in rehab being so pissed off with himself because he can't even go on real missions anymore. He's fallen behind everyone else and it feels like he might never catch up again.
Not only that but so much can happen in three years and a lot can change. Not just with the immediate environment and the outside world, but people too. How many memories did he miss out on? How many hours of bonding, laughter, and fighting alongside his family did he lose because of that?
Just thinking about going through something like that is enough to really shake me up.
