Today is officially my six months on T. It feels almost surreal to be able to say that.. after so many years of waiting and wishing and feeling envious I'll admit, when I saw other guys posts. But here I am. Some days I struggle with seeing much change, but then I look back at photos or hear my voice and smile knowing I'm that much closer to aligning with my true outer self.
So there's a post on FB where someone says that "you don't find out that you shit weird until you're at least level 3 of autism knowledge"
Andim I'm just browsing the comments trying to figure out how I'm gonna post the thing about not being born with a butthole lol
And lo and behold I found a commenter who said the same thing! I visited her profile and she had the same syndrome I have. Only she still has a colostomy.
I was sharing that with my family and they said I was super lucky to have been born in Texas, where they had the BEST hospital for that sort of thing.
And also that dad was in the military because the government payed for my surgeries 😬
Like holy poop
They reversed my colostomy after only a couple months.
I mean things aren't perfect but it's definitely preferable to having to deal with a colostomy all my life.
