AU where Shen Yuan is transmigrated in a no name NPC seer and with the combination of his novel knowledge and his new found powers accidentally becomes pretty powerful to where he has a target on his back. While his guard is down, he gets attacked and his soul binded to a crystal ball.
So now he's stuck inside a crystal ball, forced to prophesize for centuries against his will. Until the ball is lost somehow someway, and the next time he is awakened its been decades, and hes… face to face with the head disciple versions of the qing generation?!
Can ya’ll just give a character to draw next? it could be anyone and ill see what i can do :))) like either gray next or, carm and shadowsan, player, zack, ives... you get the idea.
My ideas for the Blade movie. I have a soft spot for Kit Harrington and Dane Whitman, so I want him to still be in the movie. Im on mobile, long post.
-It picks up with Blade talking to Dane Whitman about the Ebony blade, but for Dane not to have touched the sword yet. Dane in the the MCU has zero fight training, he’s a basic level one human with lots of points in history, empathy and being awkward in front of kids 🤣
-Blade gives him the run down on the blade (haha) being his snarky, mysterious self. He can explain he is a vampire hunter, a Dhampir, maybe some history of the sword, etc…nothing too crazy. Show not tell. Dane is patient, but definitely gets the impression Blade is being suspicious. How did Blade know to show up at that exact moment?
-Dane is determined to help Sersi, that’s his driving motivation. He has the power to help, and no matter how many warnings he gets, he has to try.
-When he picks up the blade, all hell breaks loose. This is a cursed sword, with centuries worth of trapped souls in it. It should look like it consumes him, his eyes and face can even get those black spider webs effects marvel likes so much.
-This kicks off a cool fight scene. Blade can show how awesome he is fending off a fully powered Black Knight and Dane can show off the powers of the sword without a training montage.
-I read the Blade movie takes place in the 1920’s, so let’s keep that. For “plot” reasons the sword time travels with Dane. The Ebony blade can canonically time travel in the comics. Maybe the prior Black Knight feels Dane pick up the sword. Let’s say the sword can travel along its own personal timeline. One of the prior Black Knight’s had to have lost a fight bad enough that the sword was bound in that box by Dane’s time.
-Im torn about what happens next. I kinda want Dane to be the bad guy of the movie. Let Kit Harrington be evil! Show him trying to push the sword back and failing with internal mind stuff. Have the prior Black Knight try and control Dane, but get smacked around because while Dane has zero fight training, the sword has centuries of power saved up.
-Or, when they land in the 1920’s, the sword drains some of its energy. Dane gets a chance to prove his mental fortitude and manages to suppress the curse. This also gives Dane a ticking time bomb quality, Alfred Hitchcock style.
-Either Dane finds Blade because he knows he needs help or Blade finds him due to the time travel triggering some magic detector. Either way, *hand waves* I’d like to see Blade build a magic London Underground version of the Avengers, but they only help him due to owing him a favor or him having blackmail material 🤣. I liked Werewolf by night, so throw an ancestor of Elsa Bloodstone in there.
-Then the plot can focus on Blade. What drives him? What are his motivations? Let Mahershala Ali really show his acting chops. Have well choreographed fight scenes that show his personality. Show how meticulous and strategic Blade is.
-Dane should learn something in the past that future Blade needs to know. I’m still thinking on that. They figure out how to send Dane back, but with one more epic fight scene where Dane takes them all on and then masters the souls in the sword. Blade shows what a great field commander he is.
So I’ve been working on a Hollow Knight AU and decided it was worth sharing for anyone who would be interested.
There’s an incredible lot going on in it and it’s worth expands far beyond Hallownest, not only by distance, but also by time.
Summary (so far)
In this story, Soul and Void are primary forces appearing in various forms. One cannot exist without even a tiny bit of the other, despite being opposites (similarly to Yin and Yang).
They both shape the world and the beings that inhabit it.
Soul represents the Heart
Void represents the Mind (not to mistake for the "mind" which represents sapience).
The Dream Realm and Essence is a combination of both of these, which became their own thing (like worlds coming to light from nothingness). But their appearance and properties depend on their content (level and form of Soul and Void.
Overall, this AU's story (and mostly lore) expands on around 6000 years (and is incredibly packed). The main highlights being:
The Fall of Weatherwealth (about 5000 years before the main story)
The Rise and Fall of Hallownest (extends from about 1000 to 200 years before the main story)
Hallownest's evacuation, AKA: The Prequel’s Prequel (about 250 years before the main story)
The Rise of Havendale (starts 800 years before the main story and accelerates much faster 600 years later)-Ghost's comes back to Hallownest (2 years before the main story)
This AU's Silksong (1 year before the main story)
The Main Story (which lasts 20 years to its full length).
°Note: The passage of time and evolution through it is generally slower than the one from our world and in places like Hallownest and its stasis, it’s completely shifted and broken.
Different creatures also age at different pace; while there is a general age and year measurement, some may age slower or faster than average (for sapient mortals it can go up to thrice slower or faster than the average lifespan).
The Main Story, taking place after this AU’s variant of the Godmaster: Delicate Flower ending, is meant to be some sort of post story experience, opening to a whole greater world of possibilities and new amazing places to discover as well as more abilities and skills, stronger foes and more challenging trials.
It will, for the most part, take place in faraway land ruled by four kingdoms called Havendale, but there will also be frequent returns to Hallownest and trips to other areas. The three main characters of this story are:
-Ghost (Post Godmaster: Delicate Flower Ending)
-Hornet (Post Pharloom, up to interpretation until we finally get more insight of it)
-Sarazel (who's none other than the memoryless and partially depowered reincarnation of the Pale King)
All main characters are very powerful from the start to fit the idea of narrative: Ghost and Hornet being like their end-game selves with different level boosts, and Sarazel already being equipped with a large array of abilities and skills (easily placing him to a "low" Higher-Being level).
As a result, aside from the challenges of the vast open world to fit the narrative ideas, there would be a lot more relaxing (but surprising) exploration and most notably, interactions and attaching characters to meet (with places like Havendale being far, far more lively).
And that is all I have so far! At least, for the basic summary, since as I said, this AU's lore and story are very heavy, and there's no way I could delve into it in details in just one post.
Eddie looks at Buck across the way. He's seen him wrecked beore, but this is different. This is pacing the length of the brick patio in Bobby and Athena's backyard like a tiger who's been caged too long, this is a desperate, volitiale tone to his voice that Eddie has never heard; this is Buck actually scaring him.
"Make what stop?" he asks him, as calm as he can manage.
"The feelings!"
"Buck, I want to help you here, but you're going to have to start making some sense."
I want to stop feeling about you!"
"Me?" That didn't make anymore sense than anything else Buck has been going on about since he walked in from the kitchen to the living room and dropped his glass of wine. The crash of glass pulled Eddie's attention away from Ana's lips, and he tried to help Buck pick up the pieces while Athena mopped up the the dark, red spot, but Buck told him to go away; yelled at him to go away, and then stormed outside.
Eddie followed.
"What do you feel about me?"
Buck snorts, "What do I feel? Well, Eddie, I feel the Earth move every time you look at me, and then you touch me? I feel like I'm on fire, and the only thing that can put me out is for you to touch me again. I feel like I am drowning in you!"
"Buck - "
"And I don't want to anymore!" Buck doesn't want to be stuck on this unrequited island of hell. He wants out.
"Buck - " Eddie repeats, because he can't think of any real words to say.
"I don't want to be in love with you anymore, because you are never going to love me back. Not when you have her," Buck motions toward the house where Ana is watching through the windows, just as everyone else is, "she's perfect." not broken into a million, little pieces that might not ever fit back together right, "and I just need this to end. Make it end!"
"Tell me what to do," Eddie says to him. Whatever it was, Eddie would do it. He'd walk through fire and over broken glass for Evan Buckley, all he had to do was ask.
Buck's eyes are rimmed red, and his face is stained with tears. Eddie's chest twists in agony, because he knows he's done this to him. He didn't know that he was doing it, but that didn't matter; he brought Buck to this place, and it was his responsibility to bring him back.
"Buck, tell me what to do," he repeats.
Buck finally stops pacing, a hole likely worn into the bottoms of his sneakers. It makes his heart ache, but he looks at Eddie, "tell me you love her, tell me she's it for you - that she fits perfectly into that empty space in your life, and that I'm delusional to have thought maybe I could."
"Buck, I- "
"Tell me!"
Eddie closes his eyes to let his own tears scroll down his cheeks. There is no empty space in his life. He thought there had been, but the truth is that Eddie's life was full of everything he ever needed from the moment he met Buck. He's just been too dense to notice.
"I can't do that," Eddie says.
"Why not?!" Buck's voice cracks with a sobbing whine.
"Because I won't ever lie to you. I don't love her, and she's not a perfect fit. Far from it, if her being in my life does this to you."
"But you should be happy."
God, why is Buck like this? Why can't he ask for what he wants? He wants Eddie to love him back, but instead he's asking himself not to. He wants to be happy, but more than that, he wants to make sure Eddie is, even if he isn't going to be the one to make it so.
"I should," He itches to reach out and soothe away all of Buck's pain; collect it in the tips of his fingers and carry it around so Buck never has to feel it again, "but you should too," he says.
"Then tell me."
"I said I won't lie to you."
Buck steps into Eddie's space, and clutches the lapels of his jacket, falling onto whatever last sword he has, "Please?"
Eddie dares now to touch him. He grips Buck's wrist, firmly to pull him off from his jacket, and crashes him tightly to his chest before Buck can protest. Buck doesn't want to; but he melts into the contact, shrinking himself down to fit better.
"Eddie, please," he says softly, "I can't feel like this anymore."
"I know." He runs the palm of a hand along Buck's back, "and I'm sorry that this isn't what you want to hear, but I'm going to say it anyway."
Buck's chest heaves against Eddie's full of anxiety, and heartbreak. He takes a deep breath, and screws his eyes shut tight while he waits for Eddie to say what he needs to hear.
"I love you," Eddie whispers into his ear, "I'm so fucking sorry it's taken me this long to get here, but please, Buck, don't stop loving me now that I am."
Buck sniffles into Eddie's shirt. He couldn't have just heard what he thinks he did; his brain was playing a trick on him, because it knows if he hears the truth, he's going to die right there in his friends' backyard.
"Buck, did you hear me?"
"I - I'm not sure say. Say it again."
Eddie softly laughs, and pulls Buck's chin away from where he's been digging it into Eddie's shoulder. He straightens him out to his proper height, and makes sure that Buck can see into his eyes, "I said, that I love you."
Buck's face erupts into a brilliant smile, cracking through all the sadness and fear that's taken up residence there for too long, and Eddie immediately kisses it into his own mouth; swallowing up all of that uncertainty.
They communicate very unspoken word from every missed opportunity until they can't breathe, and chase each other's lips before coming to rest on the other's forehead.
"I won't," Buck says, and Eddie knits his eyebrows.
"I won't stop loving you."
"Oh, good. I won't either."
They kiss again - be damned that they still aren't alone, that Eddie is going to need to run after Ana, and break up with her the way she deserves, because it isn't her fault she fell for someone who already fell for someone else.
But for now, he's just going to savor having Buck happy in his arms.
