That wonderfully awkward and exciting moment when...

you are sitting within each other's line of vision in the cafe. You make eye contact at least ten times (without really trying to) and then out of nowhere he flashes a smile in your direction. But you don't care. Because he's ruined it for himself and you have much better things to do--like laugh even harder at your friends' jokes and pretend you never even saw him.
