It's funny - the exclamation of surprised glee that came from my mouth when I realized I had bought the thicker toilet paper vs. the regularly-priced whispy stuff. I was excited by that. Who knew that adult life would instill this silly appreciation in me?

Sometimes I don’t give little old Monmouth enough credit. There might not be a ton to do here, but the town really is pretty in its own way. It’s trying its best to modernize and do more to accommodate the college students here, while still maintaining the small town feel. Maybe this place isn’t as bad as I originally thought it was.
