Hiding underneath the shadows is their first innate move. This means having their hood on, observing from afar and seeing how ordinary humans interact. There’s several words they understand, some aren’t simple and in other cases, it’s simply for providing laughter. The darkness is somewhere they hid, a safer place that others wouldn’t look and dare touch.
Being detected by someone who could have great perception is one whole other story. Frayli hadn’t confronted an issue like this before, usually their breathing is calm and silent. Their motions were less erratic, but they’re stunned and definitely ready to run.
Their wings are completely noisy during lift-off, so preparing to flee will have to do; when they’re not paralyzed and watching to see if this man would turn around.
