            finding  herself  trapped  in  a  sea  of  sweaty  bodies,  deafening  EDM  beats,  and  flashing  lights,  dahee  could  only  describe  the  scene  as  her  own  personal  circle  of  hell.

 she  had  originally  come  to  meet  a  friend  from  university,  but  surprise,  surprise—  they'd  bailed  on  her  for  a  hot  date.  c l a s s i c.  and  now,  here  she  was:  stiff  as  a  board  in  the  corner  of  the  room,  clinging  to  her  cocktail  glass.  her  grip  was  so  tight,  her  knuckles  had  gone  ghost  white.  and  as  much  as  she  wanted  to  mingle,  she  had  absolutely  no  idea  how.  truly  a  lost  cause.  "  maybe  i  should  just  leave  .  .  "  she  mutters  under  her  breath,  carefully  inching  along  the  wall  like  some  socially  anxious  crab,  aiming  for  the  exit.

 that  is,  of  course,  until  she  bumps  right  into  someone.  "  oh,  i'm  so  sorry  !  "  she  blurts,  watching  in  slow-motion  horror  as  the  contents  of  her  drink  splash  all  over  them.  cheers  to  first  impressions.
