Hi! I read this fic some time ago in which Harry and Draco are in Hogwarts and the Forbidden Forest is sentient and tries to make them cross paths with each other so they can help the other. They do keep crossing paths in the forest but they both think that the other one isn't really there. Draco is the first to realise and also runs into Hermione while freaking out about it ( I think). I would be very very very grateful if someone could point me to this fic again. Thank you for everything you do!

embroidered fic recs 6/?

an ode to a few of FeelsForBreakfast’s drarry fics

[useless technical shinfo: I used a back stitch for all of these, white cotton fabric, 3 shades of thread and four teeny weeny 4cm hoops]

So, to start at the beginning I will have to say that an embroidery for Open for Repairs was on the cards since I started embroidering fics. It’s literally the second one on the list I made when the idea came to me because it’s one of my absolute favourites and the actual crème de la crème when it comes to the Draco-in-the-Muggle-world. It’s intense in a gentle way and it deals with redemption without feeling heavy. It’s witty and funny, Draco is a delight in it and it just has it all.

Then Hurtfest came around and A Cold Spot in Hell happened and that did unspeakable things to me and my heart. Arson is sexy but prose that hurts that much yet somehow you still enjoy it is even sexier and really what else is there to say about this.

Then after that, someone here on tumblr recommended Like Holly or Blood and as soon as someone mentions boys in lipstick I come running. So... what is one meant to do? Might as well just embroider all your favourites from the same author instead of having to make a decision and hope that’s not like... a little obsessive? I threw Gryffindors Never Kiss and Tell in there too because I love it, it’s got classic gryffindor/slytherin banter, it’s so much fun (and it keeps mentioning the golden trio threesome we all not so secretly desire) and four is a better number than three.

I decided if I did it these all small and minimalistic I could still maybe do a big piece for Open for Repairs or A Cold Spot in Hell at some point if I fancy it, so here we are. Dear @drarrytrash, here’s to you and your fucking excellent writing. 

(for context, if you haven’t read some of these — in which case pls treat yourself —“you’re good at being a good person” is a quote from Open for Repairs, the match is for A Cold Spot in Hell, the lipstick is for Like Holly or Blood and “a very intense blueberry muffin” is a quote from Gryffindors Never Kiss and Tell)

He has a very, very strong feeling that across the kitchen, with his hand all the way in the chip bag, Harry is staring at him. He can’t confirm this, because it would break his no-looking-at-Harry rule, but he knows what it feels like when Harry is staring at him, because it’s actually a very normal experience for them. Luna nods. “Of course, that makes sense. It’s a very nice aura. Very yellow, a little green. Some pink!” This is the only level of conversation that Draco is going to be able to sustain for the rest of the party. “What else is it telling you?” He asks Luna, determined to prolong this as long as he can, when he, mistake of all mistakes, glances over at Harry. Harry absolutely is staring at him, and when Draco catches his eye, he jerks his head towards the kitchen door. Draco can’t imagine that Harry is insinuating what he thinks Harry is insinuating, but then he does the weird head jerk again, stands up rather awkwardly and leaves the kitchen. Great, Draco thinks. i>
