About the Series:
Being primarily transcripts, articles, personal notes, interviews and observations about Imperial Prince Luke Skywalker, son of Lord Darth Vader, and first Heir to the Throne of the Galactic Empire founded by Emperor Sheev Palatine on Empire Day (Day 1 AFE), gathered in an attempt to document and understand his sudden and volcanic rise in popularity and position within the Galactic Empire in his earliest years as requested by the Royal Department of Historical Records.
The series is presented in a fractured, non-linear, epistolary style and has a custom work skin important for the formatting for screen-reader compatibility without compromising (too much) the visual formatting for people who don't use screen readers or reader mode.

I’ve said it before but I absolutely love how Lego Star Wars makes all its villains weird little goobers.
Vader being Palpatine’s assistant who hates his job, and also wants to play with rubber ducks and eat space tacos. And being that one guy who always says the wrong thing in Rebuild The Galaxy.
Maul being that awkward minion who makes too many puns. And in Rebuild The Galaxy he’s just the cutest little thing ever.
Palpatine being the worst boss ever, who makes up words and likes his spinny chair but complains about everything else. And in Rebuild The Galaxy he’s the team dad who gets annoyed with his ragtag group of heroes he didn’t intend to adopt, but still loves them despite it all.
And it somehow doesn’t feel like a stretch. Like yeah, in canon Vader and Maul are horrible, and Palpy is so horrible even Vader and Maul are scared of him and consider him their enemy, and none of them ever do anything that’s meant to be funny… but it somehow doesn’t feel weird making them all goofy little guys in the Lego cartoons.
Watching Satine Kryze consistently get demonized by the fandom who likes to claim she "committed cultural genocide" or whatever phrase is used to frame the exile of war-mongering Mandalorians who wanted to keep up the fighting love to ignore the fact that endless war wasn't just killing countless Mandalorians but also destroying the ecosystems of the planets on which they lived.
Mandalore became a barren wasteland and they had to live in domed cities because of the damages caused by nonstop war.
Then there's Concord Dawn. A large chunk of the planet is completely missing because Mandalorians couldn't stop fighting each other.
This is what centuries of nonstop war does, but yeah, Satine's pacifist ideology was the problem and not the extreme violence and bloodshed that came before.
Justice for Satine Kryze. If she had been a man, fandom would have been praising him for his efforts.
Not the biggest Dark Empire fan in the world (there are better ways to turn Luke to the Dark Side, but that isn't here nor there) but when I came across this gem for a hundred.. had to get it.
Recently I saw someone say that Anakin Skywalker turned to the dark side because he wanted the Clone Wars to end, now we're going to set aside just how wrong that is, because that's a whole other discussion
Now to clarify, I should say that Anakin didn't want the Clone Wars to end DEEP DOWN, I'm talking in his heart of hearts, his innermost desire, on the surface he wanted it to end, but the most shameful part of his heart loved it
Why?
Simply put, the war was the best thing to ever happen to Anakin, for 3 main reasons:
1. Anakin loves action, adventure and fighting, he's good at it, he's also rather disinterested in the non combat related aspects of Jedi life/duties, considering them boring or beneath him ("a Padawan would only slow me down", remember that? How dismissive he was of doing the most important thing a Jedi can do?), the war meant Anakin got to focus most of his time on the thing he liked and didn't have to do much of the stuff he didn't like, and the end of the war would have meant less of a need for fighting and a greater need for diplomats, planners, organizers, etc for the rebuilding of the Galaxy and reintegration of the separatists, and Anakin was the latter, he would have been out of place in the galaxy post-war, a Jedi whose deal is almost exclusively fighting in a time when the galaxy doesn't need that
2. His marriage, let's be clear about something: Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala's marriage was a bad idea, and the clone wars made it worse
Yet at the same time, the war meant Anakin (and Padme too but that's another discussion) did not have to face the problems in his relationship, they were busy, frequently apart, and the relationship was a secret to begin with, Anakin and Padme didn't really have to be a real couple together
As anyone in a marriage or serious committed relationship might tell you, it requires work, effort has to be put in to make the relationship stable and functional, you have to work through the problems that come up
Anakin (and Padme! ) did you not have to do this, he was frequently apart from Padme, kinda hard to do the work in a relationship when you are not literally together, when Anakin was with Padme, it wasn't always as husband and wife, the relationship was a secret, thus in public settings Anakin couldn't act like he was Padme's husband (no matter how bad at it he was)
And of course, the reason Anakin was apart from Padme so much is because he was off fighting a war, you might say he (both of them really) was inclined to not face the issues, bury the problems out of fear of "this might be the last time I see you"
The end of the war would mean the end of excuses, whether Anakin quits the Jedi order and is with Padme as her husband openly or if they continue on with their badly kept secret, either way, they now have to actually figure out how to be a couple, do the work, make an effort, face the problems
I give it a month tops
And 3. The war's end also ends Anakin's meteoric rise in the Jedi Order
Despite what idiots say, the Jedi were VERY lenient with Anakin and granted him a degree of special privileges, and there's a decent argument to be made that it's because of the war
I mean for crying out loud, they promoted him to Knighthood at 19 (after only being a Jedi fir 10 years) and then gave him a Padawan a few months later, arguably he was ready for neither
But it goes further than that, the Clone Wars made Anakin a big deal (in universe), he's "The Hero with no fear", he's leading Republic armies to spectacular and improbable victories, we also see that Anakin-a fresh Knight-frequently gets to be in the room when planning big operations alongside senior leadership, Anakin is getting to do things a young Jedi Knight would otherwise never be doing, and it's all thanks to the Clone Wars
And the end of the war would have meant the end of that, like for example we already know Anakin was not qualified to be on the council, much less be promoted to Jedi Master, but he probably would have had a better chance of getting those at such a young age during the war than after it
Post-war Anakin's Jedi career would have slowed down, not stalled, but the fast-paced rise seen during the war would have ended, especially since (as mentioned in point #1) Anakin's focus is on the combat side that would be less needed after the war and not focused enough on the rest of what being a Jedi is, the stuff much more valuable in a post war rebuilding peacetime
And that would be a problem for Anakin, he likes the fame, he likes the glory, he likes being the hero, he likes the importance, he likes the authority it gives him and those are all tied to the war, at best Anakin post war would be just another Jedi Knight, but he's more likely to be a Knight with superb combat skills who is stunted in every other skill category
(Also the war ending would mean Anakin would probably have to take on a new Padawan, Anakin was disinterested in teaching to begin with and has issues with letting go, he would be even more against this Padawan than he was with ahsoka, plus a lot of "you're not ahsoka" to this new Padawan)
Yknow, I'm fiction there's a tendency to focus on the traumatized soldiers, the one's broken by their experience in war, but there's another kind often forgotten, the soldier who is lost, not by the horrors of war, but by the loss of direction, the one's who enjoyed the purpose and camaraderie they had during war, now adrift without war
Altogether, a post war galaxy is something Anakin would have hated, he would feel out of place, unfulfilled, cheated, bored, and resentful, forced to deal with things he's uninterested in dealing with, longing for his "glory days" when he was the conquering hero, leading the Republic to victory, beautiful wife at home...
Take all that, add the implosion of his marriage, mix it together and, well...
What I'm saying is even in a universe where Anakin kills palpatine, no order 66, no empire, the war ends, peace restored, Republic reforms...
