Equius is the kind of person who's a little bit ugly on the inside. But I think that's okay, because he's trying, and he wants to be good, so I think it's okay that he just has a hard time being good. Even though he messes up a lot, I can see that he's trying, in his own neurotic way. He's got a lot of emotions and a tendency towards downward spiraling like none I've ever seen before and a terrible time learning how to balance control and emotions and his own responses but he wants to be good. I can see that he has only ever wanted to do the right thing, even though he struggles with what "the right thing" even means. The important part is that he continues to struggle, and continues to try and learn and grow, and I love him.
