I have A Question

A lot of the hel soldiers we see show they have the tinted transparent bodies up to their necks (Robin, Eldigan, Thrasir)

But then there's Líf and Hel herself who have it past their jaw, right? Hel you can kind of pin on design, but what about Líf?

Like is there a process their bodies have to go through to become the weird glowy jelly form?? Cause I kinda have a small theory

With resplendent Robin and Eldigan, most of their bodies are hidden by their clothing, but it's mainly their chests that are the glowstick parts. So what if the glowy stuff is like fillers for their body to help keep it in one piece? The idea came to me when thinking of kintsukuroi, this kind of thing:

Where the cracks in pottery are repaired and filled in with gold. Swerving the commentary about beauty for a sec to focus on the idea that Hel "filled in" these soldiers with magic or something or other to make their bodies whole again

Which has kinda horrible implications of what must have happened to Veronica and Alfonse of that time when you look at Líf and Thrasir. Fuck, Líf's entire jaw is gone. Hel broke them.
