Anyone else have someone who you haven’t met in real life, but one time you fought in Fire Emblem Heroes and saw their name was ‘Melonlord’ which was the best thing you had seen all day so you sent them a friend request.
And then they accept it so now whenever you see Tibarn visiting your castle you get excited because you know it’s Melonlord.
And, when you finally get your own switch, you see that you can add friends there too but you only do it for people you know in real life. But then it shows you that you can also be friends with people you’re friends with on Heroes and you see Melonlord in the list and send them a request as a special exception to the irl only rule.
Then they actually accept, so you look through their game history to see if you have similar interests and see not only Animal Crossing New Horizons, but Rune Factory 4 as well.
Suddenly you’re extremely excited and go immediately to your ACNH airport to go to their island and geek out about Rune Factory 4, but Melonlord’s gate isn’t open and you have no way to contact them and ask to come over because you don’t know each other in real life.
In short; I desperately want to be friends with Melonlord, whom I have only ever seen as Tibarn and the Cappy version of the T-Rex from Mario Odyssey. I need someone else to talk about Rune Factory with.
