Sometimes I see people hating on Jaina/Jag because "Jaina literally married the Imperial Emperor of the Empire" and I can kind of see how that's fair in relation to the concept of the Fel Empire (one of several reasons I refuse to recognize the Legacy comics in my headcanon) but that really is a weird tangent for Jag's character, and most of the reason I engage with it in FotJ is because he a) didn't want the job in the first place, b) is pretty bad at it, and c) does give it up at the end of the series.

(Also, as far as I know Jag isn't actually responsible for any war crimes, unlike certain other people the writers tried to have Jaina fall in love with.)

Ardent-class fast frigates were midsized starships used by the Fel Empire during the Sith-Imperial War. They were lightly shielded and armored, in order to increase their speed, and because of this were preferred for quick, precision attacks. They were equipped with turbolasers, point-defense weapon systems, and tractor beams. Fast frigates needed a crew of 1400 and could carry shuttles, fighters, and 200 additional troops.
