3. What was the confession like?

It was a very spur-of-the-moment thing for Hornfels, after Felds had a particularly nasty crash that left them grounded for a while.

That isn't to say Hornfels meant to say it at that moment though. Felds was a bit caught off-guard by it, but it ended up being the last piece to the puzzle of what the warm fuzzy feeling that they often got at hearing Hornfels' voice over the radio was. (I HC that Feldspar is not the best at parsing their own emotions.)

5. Do they have a favourite way to cuddle?

(Figuratively) crashed on the couch in front of the fireplace after Felds comes home from a space trip. One of the best for cozy feelings.

Whoo! Here are some more headcanons, this time for Feldspar/Hornfels! Once again, answers under the cut!

2. Who fell first, and who fell hardest?

Both, in a way. Feldspar was attracted to Hornfels first, but it started very superficial and more of a friends with benefits situation. Hornfels is the one who fell in love first after they’d been intimate for a while. When Feldspar found out and realized they loved Hornfels back, it hit them like a ton of bricks.

4. Who kissed the other first? Tell about their first kiss.

They get two “first” kisses!

The first one was when Feldspar admitted they couldn’t stop staring at Hornfels’ ass and propositioned them for some fooling around. Hornfels was flustered and flattered, and had always figured they’d just be the nerd who wouldn’t ever catch the hotshot pilot’s attention. Their first kiss was in the observatory, Feldspar eager and experienced, while Hornfels was shy and uncertain.

Their second “first” kiss was after Feldspar had the shocking realization that Hornfels loved them, and the even bigger realization that they loved Hornfels back. It was after an emotional discussion and confessions in Feldspar’s ship, and was very soft and tender.
