Connol wasn't Violet nor Powder's father. Vander was Violet's father, and Silco was Powder's. You can put the dots together on it. It wasn't planned, but things just kind of.. happened. And while my Silco has offered me context, comfort, and care - I have complicated feelings regardless.

I don't regret it. I will always love Violet and Powder. And I will always love Vander and Silco.

Powder, Violet, I love you both so much. Don't ever forget how much I love you. I fought so hard to make the Undercity better for you and would do it again, always.

Vander, Silco, there's so much I want to say to you both. But thank you both for being in Powder and Vi's lives, even if it turned out to be a hot mess. I'm grateful for both of you.

Crashing out in almost every way possible because once again, I am reduced to just a woman in the way of a relationship. The third wheel in a trio. My thoughts, my feelings, my hopes and dreams, everything about me doesn't matter - I only exist to be in the way. To be forgotten about. Like I was never worth anything at all. For the ask game "Canon Homes";

Home is a loaded word for where I'm from. When you're struggling to survive in a (literal) toxic city, it's hard to call a place home. It may never stay home for long.

But I think anywhere could feel like home with Silco and Vander. We all kept an eye out for each other, especially after a tough shift in the mines. Some days were definitely better than others. But it felt.. bearable, with Sil and Vander alongside me. Especially once Vander got his bar - and damn do I miss that place too. It was a labor of love for sure.

I think I would do many, many things to just go back and be there again. Share a drink with them and bicker and reminisce about stupid things. Help with the cleaning or stocking or whatever Vander needed. Tease Silco, or pick his brain about whatever was on that expansive and wise mind of his. Dance to whatever records we could get our hands on. To be alive and have hope, even in the midst of struggles and uncertainty.

Maybe home is the people we love and care about, too.

Made Chanukkah dinner and it went successful this time. But it makes me miss the Undercity and my home. It makes me miss Silco and Vander. I'd give anything to have them home - hell, as my only Chanukkah gifts this year even.
