Well, you could juxtapose the Bible and Supernatural in they ways they contradict each other. We know that the showrunners take mythology from the Bible for the show but there are some points where they conflict heavily. An example would be Castiel killing the homophobic priest/minister. Cupid shooting two guys to fall in love. The angels being a great big bag of dicks according to Dean. How Michael and his brethren spawn chaos instead of peace and understanding. Lucifer being actually a pretty chill guy like the fact that he asks for consent from Sam before he enters his body.
Or you could write about the angels and how they are depicted in Supernatural. For example: Michael, Raphael, Lucifer and the other archangels. You could take a passage from the Bible about how they are warriors of God and how they appeared to Mary, Joseph, Elizabeth and others then compare it to the portrayal in the show. How do the biblical angels and the Supernatural ones differ and how are they the same? Do you think they did them justice? Is it sacrilegious to portray them that way? Also Castiel. They based him off an angel in the Bible called Cassiel. He fell from heaven and discovered humanity’s beauty. He married a human and had babies. Misha once said that he wanted to explore that part of the myth and maybe have it on the show. You could write about the deviations from myth that the showrunners chose to run with.
Those are my ideas. I don’t know if they’re any good but at least I hope they gave you a laugh or if I’m being serious, I hope you found them useful. Thanks.
