Felicity’s Diary  Entry 1

Dear journal, I suppose I feel like I am suffocating slightly less now since the most heavy details of my past came into light. Also since I didn’t lose the only gem that seems to understand me at all. But now I am missing my customized Spinel again...I tried forgetting about her up until this point but now I am reminded...Reminded of how she cut off pieces of her gem to resemble the shape of mine...how she didn’t listen to my pleas to just run away with me...how she stayed behind...how I hid long enough to see her demise. What a tragic day that was and I wish I didn’t remember it. I don’t even know what’s scarier, the fact that she knew the severity or the fact that she carried on with a smile like it was nothing.
