These are the victims of #panleukopenia. It's a harsh and faceless disease that decimates the immune systems and often kills its victims. Of 11 tiny souls infected, 10 received Pooh Bear's antibody serum. We have lost 1 of those, and another is very ill. Thankfully, the other 8 kittens appear to be bouncing back (2 not pictured). At their age, this disease has a 95% mortality rate. NINETY-FIVE PERCENT! If even one survives, it will be a win. • I spent most of my day with the bottle foster today, medicating, feeding, disinfecting, evaluating, and providing as much emotional support as I could. I'll be back out there tomorrow with more medicine and fluids.
