This is my first time being summoned into service by a human and I am surprised by how scared I am. Do you have any tips for me as a senior?
It is hardly surprising that one would experience such a feeling, as earth is so different from the place we hail from. The sensation of manifesting into a physical form in this world where the laws of nature work so differently can be quite painful and disorienting. I certainly am not proud of my own early experiences on Earth, so I understand how you feel very well.I would advise you to retain a calm and collected manner in front of your master or mistress at all times. Humans do not respond well to the likes of us being visibly distressed - it makes them very uncomfortable, and therefore harder to interact with. Do not use overt magic in public settings unless you wish to cause a serious panic. If you are able to, make sure that your form suits the cultural and societal context of the human society you are summoned into as well as can reasonably be expected. In essence, it may be advisable to pretend to be a calm and collected human being, right until the moment when you reveal that you are not. The best of luck to you in your current occupation.
