Contemplating Ennerdale
This is my favorite photo from our recent holiday in The Lakes. It is taken from Green Gable looking down to the Ennerdale valley flanked by Pilar on the left and the High Stile ridge on the right. Sian is contemplating the view.. not a bad coffee break spot!
The walk started at Stonethwaite and included Base Brown, our 200th Wainwright, Green Gable, Brandreth and Grey Knotts. The other photos from the walk can be seen at
