to be clear: i'm not mad at tommy, or buck, or oliver, or lou. i loved tommy's side of the breakup. i loved everything we learned about him as a person. he's falling for buck and already thinks that buck can break his heart. i loved the self sabotaging, it's delicious characterization. i loved buck's side of the breakup. he's not at i love you yet but he's ready for more. i hope we see him actually react to this breakup and have feelings about it. i didn't love the abby engagement but i loved the abby of it all — the invisible string just lit up like a glowing neon sign and became canon. if this is temporary, if they're playing the long game, this is such a delicious arc and it's everything i wanted. but if this is goodbye forever then i'm hurt and confused and really upset. yeah i'm gonna mourn not being able to see tommy's sweet face on my screen for the next however long.
