So I’m ill and I’ve been binge-watching Lark Rise to Candleford, because four series of a charming story about a small 19th century Oxfordshire village where the post office is owned and run by a rather awesome lady with fabulous outfits is the best medicine for feeling like shit.
And a thought popped into my head, which is just the bizarrest thing and shows I really need to get over the barricade boys in Les Mis, but fem!Amis AU where they own and run an all-female post office (and forge and dress shop and probably hotel too, lets just say they own all the local businesses) in some quaint English village and are awesome first wave feminists.
I need help...
(Real question though, would fem!Enjolras be the dramatically progressive trade-union organising owner of all the businesses, or the wife/widow of a dramatically radical (Radicals being the precursors to socialists) MP who wanted five thousand different reforms and universal sufferage?)
