Chapter 3: you’re standing, smiling, at the door

Eden kind of wants to take Charlotte’s face into her hands. Feel her soft skin, wipe the tears away. Kiss her cheeks and tell her everything is fine. She reaches up and brushes a tear off Charlottes’ cheek, feeling her knuckles against the heat there.

Eden feels oddly like Icarus, drawn to a warmth unknown. No matter how cosmic, though, surely Charlotte is not the sun. She pushed Eden away from her warmth before, but, coming closer, Eden knows it cannot hurt her. Charlotte is not the sun. Eden is not Icarus. They are not in a tragedy.

Hi Anon! Thanks for your lovely ask :D I'm not sure there'll be more Dangerous Games as I have so many WIPs at the moment and I'm trying to get some of them finished. Not sure if you've read my other fem!Charles fics but if you're interested, I also wrote:

To keep Anya enrolled at the prestigious Genoshan Academy for Girls boarding school, Charlotte is forced to sell all her jewelry and personal items, and when that's not enough, work as a maid for Shaw to pay for both her own room and board and her daughter's tuition.

Shaw takes advantage of her desperate circumstances to make Charlotte his own...

I don't have any more fem!Charles stories planned, but I'm not opposed to writing more if inspiration strikes! You are welcome to send me ideas/prompts, as long as you know that RL is busy and I can't commit to writing something for sure. It always depends on time and whether an idea sparks my brain and gets the Muse excited :D :D :D
