Trying to do some more with the gender bent high school AU concept. This is fem!Clyde (Claire, cheer captain). I'm thinking maybe only this generation is gender bent because I over think everything and get caught up in how if everything flipped, everyone's last name would be their mom's maiden name but even that wouldn't be right because you'd need to go all the way back to the first woman in their family tree and if you just change the rules about that, it doesn't really fit with actual American society and if you gender bend the norms of American society along with the characters, then why even bother gender bending anything because it would only really look different... This is the kind of thing I waste my time over analyzing...
