Sherlock WIP. Magic AU, Fem!Watson AU.

A dead birch tree stands outside the window.

It is the first thing she sees when she wakes again. Its limbs are black in the moonlight; a gust of wind and the dead branches click like fingers against the glass. The window is tall and narrow, the moulded-wood frame painted white. It matches the rest of the little bedroom, with its pale wallpaper and delicately pretty white wood furniture – the ivory-inlaid armoire in the corner, the little night table cluttered with empty china teacups. The armchair beside the bed, where Harry sits with her hands folded tightly in her lap.

“He hasn’t seen her,” Harry says, sounding tired and sober and at the edge of her temper. “Not once, not since we moved her here. If he cares so much—”

“He cares,” Mrs Hudson says. She smoothes the quilt at the foot of the bed, tugging it tight at the corners. “And it would do him good to see her, even as she is, but I don’t intend to waste my breath bullying him into it.” She stands back, inspecting her work. “This room needs flowers.”

The Adventures of Jamie Watson (and Sherlock Holmes), aka TAJWASH is a web series based on the Sherlock Holmes stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, with two queer females as Holmes and Watson.

Jamie Watson has just started her sophomore year at a new university, with a roommate recommended to her by their mutual friend Meg. She makes videos for her worried older sister, Hannah, and ends up getting wrapped up in the crazy world of her roommate, Sherlock Holmes. Sherlock calls herself a "consulting detective," solving every kind of crime, from vandalism to murder. With the help of friends like Jennifer Lestrade, Myra Holmes, and Mary Morstan, the girls solve cases around their crime-ridden campus.
