This is the latest rescue I got today. She was sent to the other store for free, so they brought her to me. I'm amazed she survived the trip. Currently I have her in a 1 gallon bowl only half filled so she can swim to the top easier. She also has a Indian almond leaf and a mini heater. This is always how I begin treatment on a betta in this condition - lethargic, very skinny, faded, and fin rot. If this set up doesn't work I will likely try prazipro to treat for Endo parasites.

Hoping "Vanilla Ice" survives the night.

Hey guys, so 2 weeks ago I got this beautiful young female. Her name is Pinky (because of that bright pink shimmer on her scales). The shop I got her from was a smaller fish specialty store that was moving it’s physical shop and she was kept with a school of guppies. I think she was bullied by the other fish because you can see tears in her dorsal and anal fins. But! Since getting her she’s had a lot of new fin growth! She was still enough to take a good picture! I also did some work on her tank too. Half off plants and some rocks (from marketplace) shes doing better!
