So I'm still not sure where I stand on the new female Thor, I think will have to wait until books come out and read them. I have found myself defending her all over Facebook as various news sites post the story and fanboys show up and shit all over it. Seriously, nobody likes change, but suck it the fuck up kids, it is in fact possible that you'll like it. Jesus tap-dancing Christ.

NEED COSTUME HELP! (time-sensitive for Halloween!)

I'm playing femme!Thor but the costumes out for her are basically cheap and expose more boobage than I prefer to expose (particularly since it sexually objectifies a character who does not expose that much skin in male form :/ ).  I was going to try to play Lady Loki but that's high pressure and again too much boobage (I'm really modest lol). Tried for Sif but they did the same thing to her relatively modest costume in the films.

ANYWAY, I am putting together my own Thor-esque attire but what I am short on is REALLY GOOD VAMBRACES. These can be official or they can be LIKE Thor's (silver and red or even just red).  I also can't break the bank: they need to be TWENTY BUCKS OR UNDER.  

I MAY be able to get my own made, but I'd rather not have to resort to this. Does ANYONE have recommendations?
