You've reblogged a lot of joaniarty recently. I was wondering, have you ever drawn them? Love your art.
I HAVE, like, 5/6 years ago! So the art is pretty old but I still like it so I’ll reblog for you

💔 Is there a fic of yours that broke your heart?
It's a short one-shot that I don't think many people have read, but it's called Take Me Home. There's also Sonder (There Are No Children), but I never finished that one.
🦅 Do you outline fics or fly by the seat of your pants?
I used to be a pantser through and through, but as time has gone on I've become more of a planner. I'll still write one-shots without much planning, but my longer fics now have outlines. Whether I stick to that outline or not is a whole nother story.

For the Fanfiction Writing Asks : 4, 24, 36, 49. Love your writing and hope you have a great weekend.
Thanks so much! Real happy you enjoy it! 😊
4. How do you choose which fics to write?
Due to my time being limited, I usually try and keep myself to 1-3 active fics at a time. And then work on the one that I feel most motivated to work on when I get a moment to sit down and write. Depending on the fic and the plot and whatnot that I have to keep track of, writing some fics takes more energy than others, so some days my energy level picks for me.
24. How do you choose whose POV to write in?
Whichever will bring the plot forward and allow me to show what I want to show. Sometimes, when I'm stuck on a multi-POV fic, it's because I haven't figured out the right POV for the next chapter yet. In general, I like to stick close to my characters. Unreliable narrators all the way.
36. What fic are you proudest of?
Right now, I'd say Something to Be Earned. It has turned into a beast. Completely unexpected one too. And I really enjoy writing it. I'll be proudest if I can bring it to completion and tie up most of the loose ends.
49. What fic of yours would you say is the best introduction to you as a writer?
Since kink isn't everyone's cup of tea, I'd go with The Road Home. It's got what I like as a writer (and sometimes reader): character study, complicated feels, angst and healing. More often than not, that's what you'll get with me. Potentially with a side of smut or kink, but that's optional. Lots of detail too. I like to put a lot of the important stuff into the most mundane details - so my advice would be: pay attention to those. I enjoy diving deep into a character and to explore what makes them tick --- their past, their fears, their dreams. That's my idea of a good time. Also a sucker for: strong one allowed to be soft, broken one healing, desperate one finding hope, and everyone finding the love and support they deserve.
