Fencing is an invigorating sport that can give you lifelong fitness, friends, and fun.

We offer summer camps for youth and teens (no membership required and gear is provided), in addition to regular classes for ages 8+, available through club membership.

For such a lazy person WHY??? Do I do this sport

I am such a lazy person in nature. But somehow I was able to get into a sport like fencing Oh My FUCKING God!!! I feel like I am going to die My coach decied it was a good idea to send me to a fencing camp and my body is so sore that I don't even want to move anymore. They have me waking up at 5am to run laps around a giant track field. (I have woken up no earlier than 12pm throughout the whole summer) and only get around 5 hours of sleep. By the way the Internet is slow as hell. This camp ends on Friday I start school that Monday

Boyfriend has been called "Coach Redhair" and "DougDoug"

I am often referred to as "The Girl Coach"

Took a lesson on binds from the boyf.

Children continue to cling onto me.

Getting 20 kids to suit up for fencing continues to be difficult.

Children's Camp Counselor Stories

Today, I worked with my boyfriend (*grumble* ...boss...) at a children's introductory fencing camp. Here are some great things that happened.

1. We had this little girl come in and she was hiding under a chair. Doug asked her if she wanted to come learn everybody's names. She goes, "No." And he asks if she wants to come out. "No." 

So, I figured I would try to handle it...

Me: Do you wanna come out?

Girl: Nu-uh.

Me: I like to hide under things too.

Girl: *big smile*

Me: Can you come out? Coach Doug is nice.

Girl: Nu-uh!

Me: Coach Doug isn't nice?

Girl: Nu-uh!

She also later demanded like infinite piggy back rides from me, refused to let go of my hands, asked me, "Are you fat?" and "Are you wearing a bra?" and "Are you Christian?". She also slapped the ass of another coach while he was helping another child with something, sending him into deer-in-the-headlights mode.

So...that happened.

There were also protests such as, "I can't lunge very far on the account of the tininess of my legs."

Kids, man.
