I feel so bad for Yao, I actually liked his character a lot before and after the reveal and the break up of his brotherhood with Suige but now he is in too deep and his own father went off the deep end. I also feel for the second prince, he's just so pure and going along with his mother's plans cuz mother knows best, right? Also she is literally doing what the Emperor did to Suige, truly the parallels are there, Emperor and Emperess of Susha were a match made in hell fr.
Same with Empress of Jinxiu, like this woman don't really give a shit abt her son and just let him do what he wants and put him on the throne so she can do what she wants. She gives me real bad vibes I really dont like her, + she likes Jingshi so eugh. I really hope Jingyan ends up doing smth abt her, maybe now that Xiyang wormed into his heart he will defend her against her evil mil
