Tekken Thoughts: Is Forest Law the stronger Law?

It’s always been somewhat hinted that Forest Law is the better fighter between him and his father. Paul once straight up told him this but mainly to massage his ego. Compared to Marshall Law, Forest is currently in the physical prime of this life (as opposed to being middle age) and have you seen this motherf**kers calves in TTT2. Jesus Christ! 

Canon kinda goes against him though. Forest has only entered the King of Iron Fist Tournament 3 where I don’t think he made it very far and, while not officially confirmed, it’s seems as if he lost a fight to Lili years later. Something definitely happened according to the TTT2 alignment chart as Marshall dislikes Lili. (Unless he dislikes her because she’s a supposed rich kid lol).

In contrast to Forest, Marshall Law’s best performance is Tekken 2 where he defeated Baek Doo San. Marshall also drew with Wang in the first tournament and only an aged Marshall been confirmed to lose an official match in Tekken 4. (Pretty sure Marshall losing to Feng in Tekken 7 will be official though).

So who knows the better martial artist? Who knows. Perhaps Forest Law will return in Tekken 8 for a showdown against Feng Wei to avenge his fallen father.

Tekken Thoughts - Why does Tekken 7 Lei look so different?

Firstly, this is not a complaint. This is merely me looking at this from a storyline perspective. Its kinda what I do here on Tekken Thoughts.

I'd had this theory that the reason Lei wasn't in Tekken 7 was because he suffered a heavy defeat to Feng at the previous tournament.

Even though Lei has returned this doesn't completely this prove my theory. Lei doesn't look like his usual clean shaven self. And what's with this bangage on his nose? Honestly, he looks like he's either lost his job or at least got demoted. Could this be a result of failing to capture Feng? Or maybe it's because of WW3? Maybe he's just undercover. Who knows. I'm probably wrong anyway.

Tekken Thoughts: Why does Feng wear a suit?

Several Tekken characters have had suits as their 2P costumes: Kazuya, Heihachi, Lee, etc They’re all high-end businessmen it makes sense but why does Feng wear one?

Don’t get me wrong it looks good. Real good. Other like Kazuya, no one pulls this off better in my opinion but every since Tekken 5 I’ve always wondered this. It seems very out of character. I thought Feng it 100% about the fight. That’s his life’s dedication no?

Tekken Thoughts: My Tekken Unofficial OST Part 2

For anyone that’s been following me for a while will have seen these types of posts from time to time. If not Welcome to My Unofficial Tekken Character OST. The idea is that since Tekken 4 characters no longer had their own stages of character themes so I’d thought it would be fun to assign characters both stages and themes from game Tekken 4, 5, 6, 7 AND Tag 2. By the way they’re also videos on Youtube so you can listen to then all of there.

Feng Wei Theme - Unofficial Tekken Character Theme OST - Dragon's Nest

The Disciple of God Fist - Feng Wei 

It was between this and it’s DR remake for Feng Wei’s theme. I do prefer this theme slightly more. Eventually Feng would defeat Law on this stage so I think it’s fitting.

After Tekken 3 and TTT1, Namco stopped doing character stages and themes but that never stopped fans associated characters with a certain stage e.g. "This is totally Feng's stage". Whether they're right or wrong it's a fun thing to do so I decided to make a complete OST of unofficial characters theme using tunes and stages from Tekken 4 to 7.
