When he sees her, Haida has to rub his eyes. It’s a little bit comical, but he’s trying is best (goddamnit), and has no intentions of running up someone hollering Fenneko when it is in no way, Fenneko. That would be embarrassing. The end of days when it seems everything has ended just a bit. So, Haida bucks up, and stares for a moment.
“Fenneko?” Haida’s voice carries trepidation, but there’s hope in there, somewhere under the stress. “Fenneko!” Then it clicks, and he’s charging over to the other, panting by the time he gets there.
“Thank God. Are you alright?!”
