A comfort with minimum touch, that was what Vicente had been going for. Knowing just an inkling of what Fenris had gone through, he respected as much as he could the distance between them. “It is nice to hear you laugh.” Vicente smiled softly himself as he squeezed Fenris hand gently and then let go. “Are you feeling better now?”

“No, that’s true.” Vicente had to admit, but that didn’t mean that he had to like it. He had noticed the man’s face had a faint bruise, but there were other bruises as well and cuts... nothing which wouldn’t heal.... but still, it was another reminder for Fenris that his ex could still find and hurt him.
He let out a soft snort when Fenris said that his ex was dangerous. “I’m what guys like him are afraid of.” And it was true, the reason for the bodyguards, for the big talk... who could stop an assassin if they set their mind to it? Eyeing the bottle, he reached for the glass which was filled for him.
“Let me take care of those cuts and you won’t hear another peep out of me.” He sipped from the wine.
